securing stored cylinders?

Sep 03, 2007 3 Replies

I have several welding gas cylinders of various sizes. My shop has limited space, and I'd like to store these outside (most are inert anyway) but I'm concerned about burglary. I don't want to buy anything expensive, but I'd like to find a way to secure my cylinders. Anyone have a clever way to do this? I'm a reasonably competent fabricator, just looking for design ideas.

You can buy steel cabinets at liquidations for not too much and use them.

Rubbermaid makes a cool little "garden shed" that is perfect for storing about 6 bottles

I use a shed like that for garbage. They are nice.
