I have a new Airtronics Stylus transmitter and the modulation is set to PPM. What is PPM-INV.? There is nothing in the manual that addresses this mode. Help????
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have an Airtronics, but my best guess is than you could change to negative pulse (Futaba compatible).

That is correct.
The Stylus can "talk" to Airtronics/JR or Futaba/Hitec receivers in the PPM mode. A very handy and unique feature in case you have alot of Futaba/Hitec receivers that you want to keep using.
PCM modes are excluded as they are typically not compatible between manufacturers
Ah, Airtronics leads again!

I may be wrong, but I think Hitek beat em to it with the Prism 7x transmitter.

It's definately handy, but hardly unique.
Other radios do offer the same feature. Futaba and JR don't (probably because they're the market leaders, so there's little incentive for them to work with each other) but Hitec and some of the smaller manufacturers offer the same feature.
It's the second to main reason I own a Hitec Eclipse 7 in addition to my Futaba 9C. (The main reason is that I got tired of waiting for Futaba to release their synthesized module for the 9C.) It's nice having a single radio that can control all the wierd receivers I've accumulated over the years.

That's pretty much an understatement ...
I have the Hitec Optic with the Spectrum module. Works well with all my diverse receivers but not with my older model Airtronics Vanguard, even when I program in positive shift. Any suggestions?
You're right. I have a Prism 7x.
