Built mine stock ( with a little dihedral) and it flys fine with the recommended battery.
It handles the wind fine.
I also tried a 6 cell 650 mAh kan pack from diversity models. The pack is alittle heavier which helped put more weight ahead of the CG. The Jenny was faster and performed better.

I'm running a 2 cell Li-ion 7.4v/1400mah everything else stock. There are no probs in 10-12 winds. even flew inverted today in about 10 mph winds with no loss of altitude. (gotta get some video you guys I know).
Balanced exactly where manual recommended with this pack, no bad tendencies. Can definetaly handle wind!!! :)
