Rubber power source? UK

Sorry if this is OT, but don't know where else to ask

Does anyone know of a source of 1/8" cross-section rubber (or near to it: maybe 3/16") in the UK.

(This is not actually for powering a plane).

Thanks in advance.

When you say: 1/8" cross-section, do you mean diameter ? Since you have not said how you want to use it, have you thought of maybe looking into surgical tubing ? I happen to use surgical rubber tubing in my crossbow.

Is rubber for rubber motors too thin? It is about 1mm thick and comes typically 3mm (1/8") wide, but is available also 6mm (1/4") wide. In UK you get the stuff from Mike Woodhouse, freeflightsupplies.co.uk .

Sorry, I expressed myself badly.

I meant 1/8" square rubber, it is for making a couple of catapults.

thanks for the link.

Aha .... Then your best choice IS surgical tubing. If you have worked with surgical tubing, you really should try it. That stuff is amazing. As I stated above, I use it on my cross bow. A bit bigger than your catapult ..... Since it has a hole in it, you can easily make connectors. HTH.
