Jun 12, 2005 6 Replies

I just bought a bundle of blue fan fold 1/4". I have a a few ideas and I'm searching the web but I thought I'd ask here for your ideas and technics for shaping and joining. TIA, mk

There's plenty of nfo at

in the forums.

The basics are:

Cut with an exacto knife or a foam cutting bow. Use epoxy or Foam Safe CA Peel the clear backing from areas you're gluing together.

No fancy equipment needed!

Speaking of which, I've heard a rumor that you can't get the stuff on the West Coast (too warm here) and indeed the local Home Despot doesn't have it -- anybody know where to get it in the Portland, Oregon area?

The Spad site has some neat plans for planes using this stuff
