redefining a block from designcenter in autocad 2000
is this possible?
when i right or left click drag a block from a different file through designcenter it merely inserts the existing definition. is there any way to redefine it?

I think what Adam meant to say was that you are probably inserting a block from inside another drawing. What you need to do is save the block to a separate file using the WBLOCK command, then use insert and browse to insert that file. When you go to enter after picking the file it will ask you if you wish to redefine the block.
