even a knee mill instead of using a specialized machine. Anyone besides BHJ sell an fixture / attachment that's not block specific to do this? BHJ offers a block specific fixture and boring bar for both the mains and the cam tunnel.

Interesting to see how engine machining is finally moving toward not using specialized machines for every task. At the same time Sunnen has faded badly with many of their specialized machines being discontinued. Sunnen in many ways reminds me of Bridgeport Machines and what happened to them.
