The plant, to be constructed and operated By Intel Products (Chengdu) Ltd., is expected to handle assembly and testing of Intel's most advanced microprocessors, the company said. "This project will bring Intel's latest products and assembly and testing process technology to Chengdu," said Brian M. Krzanich, VP, Intel technology and manufacturing group and co-general manager, assembly and test manufacturing, said in a statement. "It is a sign of our continued confidence in our ability to do business effectively in western China."
