OMW Corporation is a small, fast growing job shop doing complex prototyping and short run production in the North Bay area. We're seeking an additional machinist to join our team. Candidates must be able to produce complex parts quickly and efficiently in a professional work environment. Excellent manual machining skills a must, on milling machines, lathes and other common shop equipment. Computer skills and CNC experience on machining and turning centers required. CAM experience a plus.
Responsibilities may include:
Programming machine tools, both at the control and through SurfCam CAM system. Machine and tooling setup Dry running and procedure prove-out Part production Manual machine 2nd op work and occasional manual production Deburring and finishing Precision measurement and quality control Machine maintenance and contributions to shop improvements
