OT: 30 yrs bad elect & the "S" word

After 30 yrs of fighting with "FU" electric aka TXU, I found the magic word that brings big electric to their knees. SUE ! Now I got my very own new transformer & new much heaver wire & I'm the only one on that transformer . Damn, should have thought of that 30 yrs ago. Should have remembered the Johnny Cash song "A boy named Sue".

Mine is the bigger transformer, pics here:

That's great !!!

They must have thought you have a case. From reading your posts, it was amazing to me that they could be directly responsible for that kind of damage, and not be concerned. I've always had these types of problems fixed pretty fast here in So. Cal. Must be all the lawyers and liberal courts we have around here.

Did they make you sign a waver or anything ??

Regards

Mark

Well, you see due to that fancy TX deregulation it's 4 companies, one generates the elect, one runs the wires, one bills you & one answers the calls (maybe in India). And the Doberman's require a BBQ'ed steak for their service. So Cookie was just going to small claims court. But with my pic of 261 volts & Cookie saying (after 30 yrs) she was going to court (maybe with the Dobe's) they finally got off their ass.

Nope, I signed nothing. Long time ago (25 yrs) an electric company guy said the lines down my street were crap & they would never fix them. I still have all the service bills (Fanuc repair people) & still may go to court to get my money back. We asked the electric company 4 weeks ago where to send the bills. They said they would call us back & tell us where to send them in 3 days. Guess what they never called...

Why wrote in news: snipped-for-privacy@4ax.com:

I'd still sue, to be reimbursed for my expenses, and speaking of expenses, do not forget to add in the lost production time from all the screw-ups tied to thier problem. That time costs you money. I'd bill em for every hour each piece of equipment was down due to thier lack of response at your standard shop rate.

Well I'm thinking about it I have over 15K in Fanuc board's that I had to replace over 13 yrs & the service tech's fees but when they show up (5 hrs after I call) the electric is working (temporary) & the machines run, until the next day. But I have to pay them. Shut down with the servo errors & the last time with a 409 (spindle overheat). I just don't know how I will prove that.

Seems after we bitch (many times) they would find out cap's were burned out & replace them. Which would work for 1 to 6 months (Max) .

Machine time lost, gee it was 2 to 3 days a week last yr but I can't prove that. I could run fine on the weekend & up til 8:00 AM monday to friday then the machines shut down. I got to where I didn't call Fanuc with the servo errors (cause I knew it was the electric) but the

409 error this mouth I did call, they had me ck stuff over the phone & no go. When Faunc showed up in 4 hrs later they ran (I was trying them for 6 hrs & gave up 1 hr before they showed up).

But then again I'm in a third world country, Dallas TX...
