I am attempting to learn a bit of WinCC before I go on a course run by Siemens. The final system that I will be developing will be an HMI for a dive support vessel. The architecture of the system will involve one server (Windows 2003 Server R2) and a number of clients (Windows XP SP2).
The problem that I am having, is that I cannot find anywhere in the documentation that came with WinCC V6 SP4 any mention of configuration of the communication between WinCC on the server and WinCC on the Client. I am interested in having a number of Tags on the server that can be read by the client systems.
Is there anyone out there that could point me in the right direction?
Even a pointer to the correct manual will help.
