masterkeying program

I am a locksmith, I apprentised with a locksmith who has since retired and always did things the same way that he learned it. I actually managed to teach him a few things as I am always looking into new and more efficient ways of doing things. I would like to purchase a Masterkeying program for my computer, I can see how it would be a definite advantage in setting up and monitoring masterkey systems. Do any of you have any recommendations?

Be fore warned.. If you think you will EVER need to contact customer service, DO NOT BUY .

Don't believe me..... just follow this thread for a few days!

That being said. I have had very good results with a product called "Perfect Master". It is simple to use , runs on older machines, and you can edit the charts as needed.

You may want to consider other products available from other vendors, that have no customer service issues .

Take it away KEY

Have look at this one. You can actually talk to the person who wrote and supports the product.

I've been using it since DOS days

I seem to remember, in the ads in the back of national or LL, there was available a 'demo' of one program.. I got it saved on the other computer, currently in the shop, and cant tell you the name..

perhaps GOOGLE and search for such program demos.. it might turn up a few.. Go to Framon site and see them as well.. hit the pages of the 2 above magazines on the net and try Clearstar.com in the public section if you dont have access and someone there might help you as well --Shiva--
