Dave Munroe ripped me off!!

Several Canadians seem to be apologetic that this guy belongs to them, that's not right. We have plenty of American scum, as does every other country. Don't apologize just because he comes from Canada, after all, we have Michaeal Jackson and the like. I will make a note tho, that you are willing to kick butt for us if necessary, thanks!

Too late now, you should have done your home work before dealing with him. If you had checked him out with google you'd know he's been ripping people off for years. The Canadian authorities wouldn't help you, my advice is to never deal with Canadians.

If Canadian authorities won't work on an issue of crime, why take the chance of dealing with any Canadian? Don't like it? Get your lazy ass cops to do something about this Munroe character, he's been in the business if stealing from people for more than 5 years.

I'm not sure you understand. First off, I'm not Canadian. I also fail to see the connection between being Canadian and being a crook. Susan and I were recently ripped off by a seller in Florida. Should I assume from your response that everyone in Florida, or perhaps the whole of the US, should be avoided?

I'm all for prosecution, and severe punishment, but the guilty parties, not everyone that inhabits a particular region.

There is probably more crooks per capita in the US than in Canada. I think more people should try to get crooks prosecuted rather than being embarrassed about being ripped off and not doing anything.

And if Americans keep sending him money and not making actual complaints to the authorities about getting ripped off, why would he stop ripping people off ? Between the US and Canadian Posties, various police organizations, and just plain old word gettin' around (Al Babin ring a bell?) the guy should not be able to operate, but I am reasonably sure he rely's on people shrugging their shoulders and accepting a loss as being less hassle than the effort it would take to do something about it. To get police to do something, first, someone must make a formal complaint. Our lazy as police are no better or worse than the American lazy ass police.

So THAT'S why nobody can do anything about Al Babin in Connecticut.... it's Canadian cops who are supposed to be after him!! I should have realized!

Ah, yes, now here we have a problem. Thankfully we only have Tim Horton's up here and not Krispy Kreme. Our fuzz would be twice the size :-) Ever seen a cruiser with the lights on race to the nearest donut shop? I have. Hilarious.

Seriously though it's a good idea. Where do you start? The local police will say it's not their problem, the RCMP will say either it's not a federal offense or they're looking into it - and never do anything about it. The media doesn't care because it's too small. You're left with small claims court. A formal complaint starts the process I guess?? Will eBay shut him out? Has either post office done anything??

He already said there were more crooks!

Agreed. I recalled another event that went the other way. Then again, with my memory.....

I didn't think we had it in us :-) Well, apparently some do.

Unless you are a Canadian Soldier within range of so-called "friendly fire"

Or a Canadian citizen walking across the street in Niagara falls when some "county mounty" Yankee cop crashes the border chasing a fleeing car - violating Canadian soveraignty with impunity. - and you get run down.

US Foreigh policy is a threat to ALL - not just the US -

Paudash is a largely Native community in the Keene / Rice lake area. South East of Peterborough. I believe the amalgamated community in that area is now known as Hiawatha. Serpent Mounds park is part of the "islands of the trent" first nation community, as it is also known.

I've been ripped off by Americans in the past - guess we shouldn't deal with them either - eh???

That fine by me, I don't trust your people and I have no desire to deal with you.

postings about slander could get someone involved into a lawsuit. especially when you try to pretend to be this guy.
