Foundry Stockroom Absolute Auction Announcement

There is a foundry liquidation that is scheduled for June 3 in Statesboro, GA. The foundry I once worked for was sold and is now out of business. I left when this new regime bought the place, good timing on my part. The link below has images of some of the more than 800 skids of supplies from the foundry's storeroom.

I got several calls today asking for me to go get some pictures of some of what is being auctioned off. Here they are!

Here is a link to 50 pictures of some of the cnc stuff at this auction. This is only a small amount of the items that will be sold. While I was there the guy representing the Auction Company said that at the end of the day of the Auction, whatever is not sold will be sold at that time for scrap. There were 20 or so images of leadscrews. The cnc replacement bearings and parts, Fanuc boards and cards etc are all there as well. Everything will be sold for something. There were racks and racks of bar stock and shafts, skids of grinding wheels etc.

I have no financial interest in this auction whatsoever. I am doing this to let some of you who are looking for hard to find parts for liquidation prices. This is ideal for all the hobby guys who aren't looking to make major investments.
