The town celebrates its birthday once every five years. But what a celebration it is!
Ten candidates have so far filed applications to be Maids of Petroleum, and hopefully become Oildorado Queen. Event sponsors would like to have
20 Maids of Petroleum.
Eligibility requirements are tight:
- Be between the ages of 16-21
- Be single ? never married, divorced, common law married or had children
- Earn a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in school
