Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Senate panel unanimously approved a bill earlier this week that will pave the way for medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of Nevada.

And now, for the first time ever, a medical marijuana school is teaching the A-B-C's of starting your own budding business.

The Cannabis Career Institute announced Friday the first Nevada school to teach all things medical marijuana.

They say that dispensaries are a growth industry and feel confident this will be a big hit in Nevada.

The CCI began about five years ago and they operate in five states across the nation.

According to them, 1,500 students have learned how to be "budding" entrepreneurs and enrollment for the Nevada school will begin Saturday.

Attorney Michael Becker has defended several medical marijuana users and he sees this as a win-win.

I suppose their students will be eligible for tuition assistance? It's probably a better investment than the schools that teach brain dead students diesel mechanics and tell them they will have $80,000 jobs when they graduate.
