Powdercoat oven

I've been building a powdercoat oven for items up to motorcycle frame size, and I've finally gotten it to the testing stage. The website's not quite finished, but I thought I would put it out there and see what you think. Let me know if you think any specific details should be added to the site.

Very nice Gary, what is your plan to get the parts in and out? I have always used a rolling cart. Will the elements be covered? Darrell

Nice work.

Hey Gary,

Looks good! What are you going to do to provide a heat seal at the "door" face?

Take care.

I have a small trolley that rolls into the oven on 1x2 channel rails. Looks like I need to add a picture of this. No cover planned for the elements (yet).

Right now, nothing, just latch the door tightly. I have some of the heat seal bead(?) that came from the old ovens that could be attached on the inside of the door, if needed. This oven is for occasional use and is designed to break down into flat pieces for storage on a shelf in the rafters. I figure I can live with a little heat loss. Gary Brady Austin, TX
