Anbody do small lathe jobs ?

A simple job that has become a problem.

My Father has an Aluminum Greenhouse (Marley make) and the door is a sliding effort ... achieved by having a nylon or similar 'cone' that runs in a inverted U aluminum track.

Seems Marley went bust more than 25 years ago, and you can't but the parts (followed up on many suggested leads on uk.d-i-y)

As it only needs to be some pieces of nylon machined up, wondered if anyone here could knock them up for me (paid of course)

The item is pretty simple an inverted cone roller made of nylon ...:

held in place by a 'T stud rivet, around which it is free to rotate, I could remove rivet and fix with a bolt.

Unfortunately no .... the Marley track is only 16.5 wide for the roller.

One of the guys on this site has offered to make me a couple of rollers - so I a now sorted ........ I won't mention his name in case that floods him with requests .... but well done uk.rec.models.engineering
