Hydraulic Power Pack

Not really model engineering, but I'm hopeful that someone hereabouts can help.

A chum has a Modular Hydraulic Systems Hydraulic Power Pack, mid 1990s vintage, 45 litre reservoir, single phase 3hp motor, delivers 6 lpm at 2600 psi - pressure gauge 0-250 BAR, on castors, has carrying handles - but it's very heavy.

Any idea what it's worth? He's thinking about selling it but doesn't know what sort of price to put on it.

All help appreciated,

Thanks Arthur mail to arthurm at bigfoot.com

Like anything with only a limited market to appeal to, it is worth only what somebody is prepared to pay for it on the day of sale, whether that be £10 or £1000. The only way to find out that value is to auction it.

hereabouts can

Look on eBay - there are always quite a few at that moderately low pressure (3750psi) the pricey ones are the 10,000 psi ones (AMHIK)

Thanks both, looks like ebay's his best bet.
