I went to the Model Engineering Show at Alexandra Palace yesterday - lots of lathes, tooling, glue, paint, boats, trains and steam stuff - but no planes - aren't model aircraft considered model engineering?
Excellent Model rocketry stand though.

If your interest is model aircraft then Sandown is the better exhibition. Held around May time.
There were a few (4) static (non flying) aircraft on a club stand.
