Wry smile? Guffaw, more like ;-)

Brilliant!!! I just blew coffee all over my monitor... LOL I can't wait for the video "Troll Bondage"
Joules
I was trying to be diplomatic!
Ah, sod it...
As Bean is wont to say - "Bwaahahahahahahahaaa!!" ( Minor laugh note - when running the spell check it paused on this and suggested 'Psychopathological' as a replacement. How apt! ).
I p>Apparently nobody loves him... ahhh
Have a look at the last entry in the 'guestbook' - posted a few days before the arrest. Coincidence? I also note that there's a link to a chat service on the site - I wonder if this was the chat room mentioned in the newspaper article. If so, it would seem the profile's bona-fide...which seems pretty bizarre!
Interesting that the police decided to video the arrest - I guess they expected Evans to 'cut up rough'. They're evidently far more sensible than he ever gave them credit for.
Not only that, but it also appears he's been issued with an NIP for dodgy driving!!
I wonder if they still have soap, showers and a Mr.Big in prison these days...?
I think this calls for the opening of another bottle of steam ale, possibly the rest of the case!
Regards,
I'm not bothering with another bottle. I've ordered a bulk tanker of Newkie Brown

"Now Mr Evans, 54, of Hardens Close, Chippenham, has made a complaint to police after he claims he was roughly treated during the arrest.
But police say they are confident they acted within the law when arresting him,it was not rough treatment merely a good fettling"
Interesting they sent six boys in blue and someone with a video. Based on previous experiences?
Do you think John S will be called as a character witnes at the trial?
I believe after a good fettling you are then thrown in the dustbin.

He's a busy boy.
""I'm pretty wound up but so are the people living around me."
Well quite...
Hiring those police uniforms was the best £50 quid we've ever spent, eh John? ----------------------------------------------------------- snipped-for-privacy@boltblue.com

We should get that back spades in from the sale of the video.

In article , John Stevenson writes
Actually, it occurs to me that this will (presumably) go to trial. I think all of Gareth's on-line friends should make an effort to attend the court and show their support.
Absolutely. After all, what are friends for?

I'll have some spare seats from the Midlands if anyone is interested.
Will it be worth getting a 49 seater ?

If they still have flogging or gallows in Wiltshire, I think you will need to hire a fleet of coaches.
You have to admit that it couldn't happen to a nicer person.
ps You have to be that bad for it to happen at all.
No - you are complained about on the newsgroups and your suppliers name blackened. :-)
