Saw arbor

Hi all



I have to make a new arbor for a 38 inch dia. circle saw,what in you opinion is the steel grade to use,-would EN8 suffice. Thanks Dic

I used cold rolled mild steel of 1in diameter about 12in long to make an arbor for a 9in table saw - seems to hold up OK after 10 years of intermittent hobby use.

BUT:

That's a BIG saw blade.
