Solvent for crosslinked silicone by NMR analysis ?

Dear all....



For a NMR measurement I need a good solvent for a crosslinked silicone rubber.



Any recommendations available ?

Toluene is a good first choice, or heptane. They should work at room temp given time. Or maybe some heat to get things going, but things should stay afloat after cooling back to RT.

By definition, crosslinked means not fusible or soluble. Best you can hope for is swelling with the solvent. System mentioned below probably breaks cross links:
