No model tree when opening a drawing only...

Well, I'm so far surprised that no one suggested the venerable (and nasty) Mapkey approach because, no, it is not possible to configure the window behavior (except for icons, which are context sensitive) to a module. So, no, I do not think it is possible to set whether the model tree opens to WHAT is being opened. Of course, there are always the unexplored capabilities of j-link to consider. So, I wouldn't rule it out completely. It's just not EASILY, simply, directly accomplished, which makes it, naturally, fertile ground for the typical Pro/e workaround.
