I would like to go on the record to THANK NAR for adopting my proposal!!! Just in time too! Now extend it to schools.

NAR records say there are 17 lifetime members and you are 18. Someone or more must have died.
I see dead people.
When you become a lifetime member, you can keep your original number, or pick an unused one. So they are not sequential at all.
Glancing at the numerical list at the last NAR election, I see that they have not released #2, nor do I think they should.

But what is the offer? The complaint is valid IMHO.
