They did something weird to the code on the main page; I see no content at all, except for the top banners. I have to open the source and cut-n-paste the forum URL in to get to it.

No conspiracy Joel, but I did get over 1800 e-mail messages notifying me that my auction closed yesterday. It appears that my auction was in SniperGuard mode and probably just ending to generate the end-of-auction e-mail when the problem hit. Imaging my surprise this morning when I retrieved my messages! That's not so bad, at least I knew what was going on. Poor guy that won my auction. I bet he got the same messages I did.
Programming is hell! I know!
