In the Press again

Well, Jerry, actually no it isn't.

It's just like when a cop knocks on your door and asks if he can come in and look around. You are well within your rights to say "NO!", and his alternative is to come back with a warrant (if he can get one). However, the vast majority of people don't exercise that right. It's the whole reason why suspects have to be 'Mirandized' now, because so many people weren't aware/didn't exercise their rights.

So, he can certainly ASK for them, but if he REQUIRES them as part of the process, that's where you can insert your complaint. Obviously, few people ever turned him down, though.

We can take Jack at his word, as he has no history of distorting the facts, only an unblemished record of selfless service to NAR and the rocketry community. Can you say the same??

So you would take the word of a man who would state the opposite of his own written policy?

Hmmm.

I see.

Thanks for confirming that.

Since I seem to have your attention and I will not be posting correspondence to or from S&T despitey our "offer", and since the motor cert guidelines are NOT online, let's just cut to the chase.

Does NAR require proof of an ATF permit of any kind or not?

Does NAR (per NAFTA) recognize any competent authority approval and NOT just DOT?

Let's start there.

Thank you.

NSL just wrapped up. The officials at the launch did not require permits. They can't. Drop the show me yours and I'll show you mine crap fat boy. You are over. Everybody just ignore Skippy. He has lied to the community for over a decade. If nobody here responded to him he would have absolutely nothing to look forward to every day. Stop now. He will always state the same over and over. He thrives on the same folks arguing the same points over and over. He will never get back in the door. He is forever an outsider. I hear you knockin but you can't come in.

I've been at exactly one event where they wanted to check permits. I refused to comply. It wasn't the CDs idea either, but as he said, he didn't want to get Tripped up.

What "offer" Jerry?

You clam we demand them, prove it.

There is no reason to talk about DOT permits as that was not part of the original subject and should be part of a different discussion.

No Jerry. Lets go back to the beginning where you stated on May 28, "Reminding you NAR and TRA improperly demand ATF permits is NOT demonization. It is information" You made that statement as "information" that NAR demands ATF permits. So whatever paper work you used to obtain this information you should post to prove your statement. In the past you have said that NAR S&T has asked you for ATF permits and I have stated that we have not. So you should post the email or letter that proves we asked you for ATF permits. This is the subject we are on.

This "runaround" is why there are no certified USR motors.

You might find it to be a form of entertainment. I call it restraint of trade.

Feel free to email me direct should you want to proceed in a positive direction.
