Rocket in the film 'the Incredibles' suited for multi motors

"The Incredibles" rocket looked to me like the rocket in Sky Captain (Totenkopf's Ark), but with some small forward fins and 6 bustles aft.

So you, as a crime fighter, can increase your arsenal after you defeat them and confiscate all the cool stuff back to your lair.

I've been thinking that the rocket from Sky Captain would make a really great hybrid. The shape is perfect for the tank and, in the case of a HyperTEK, the fuel grain could slide right in where the "nozzle" was between the fin structure. Probably look just as cool as a 24mm scale down from that. Something to get the attention of the young/movie goers at a demo or launch.

Because the heros are too busy looking spiffy (gotta keep that image for the PR!) and, because they're the good guys, it'd be politically incorrect to have all those nasty/cool toys...until they "confiscate" them, for the good of all of course, and to study them to develope a defense against it, again for the good of all. But for some reason that always seems like looting the dead in a D+D game, guess it's just a coincidence, good guys wouldn't do that.......

I think you're thinking of the attack missiles, those Phoenix-like things that sputtered their way to shoot down the (good guys') amphibious planes. those are cool too. the Ark is the biiiiig rocket at the climax of the movie. it is a more usual rocket shape, it has 3 fins with pods on the ends.

Yep, yer right, I was thinking about those missiles that came out of the water near the end rather than the Ark. But memory ommissions happen when you aren't impressed with something (the movie in general). I do remember quipping with the wife as the Ark rose "Oh look! They're going for the X-Prize too!" My biggest laugh however comes from the robots and the fact most will not know they were "borrowed" almost 100% from a WWII era cartoon. And no, I won't say which one. Let's see if anyone else knows the answer.

I don't think I saw anything in the film that wasn't "borrowed" from some other comic or movie. But, I thought it was pretty good.

Back to rockets:

The water to air missles looked pretty easy to model, basicly a RPG with big fins and a 3 minute burn time.

The ark's (must be specific to which one for fantasy scale) looked pretty difficult, six main engines around a central core, no central engine, small fins on the first stage, large fins on the top stage/payload, relatively short, probably 4 or 5 to 1 aspect. Very difficult to get to fly in only one direction.
