Does anyone know, or can estimate, the size of rocketry? No of people that fly each year, no of flights, money spent,, etc. Not just model, but also Ex/Am, HPR. How about a breakdown on different areas. Also, anybody know of a anti-armor system anywhere in the world that can hit a tank at 5 miles? I don't know of such a system. Comments?
Where have you been? The Schumerberg Mk I is not only capable of this feat, it is quickly converted to anti-aircraft and CBR strike missions as well. In addition, a quick field modification allows the missile to be used as an ordinary bomb, although an improved laser targeting system is soon to be released.
Details are classified (for obvious reasons), but the Mk I seems to use either captured Romulan photon torpedo based guidance, or Betazoid WITTT (Will It To The Target) acquisition and tracking technology. Warhead details are still sketchy, but are known to include UAD (Universal Armor Dissolving), anti-aircraft, chemical, biological, nuclear, and NSP (NAR Standard Payload) effects munitions. Ground support equipment is not required for the Mk I, with the exception of a 12v igniter system and
1/4" launch rod, indicating advanced imbedded AI and semi-autonomous operation.
Raytheon, et al, have expressed dismay at the release of the Schumerberg series of missiles as they do not require the military-industrial complex for manufacture; they can be assembled in a garage or workshop with commonly available materials and hand tools.
Geez, Ed, you need to keep up with technology. I would suggest contacting either of the Schumerberg developers for more detailed information on the Mk I.
I referred you to a couple dozen of my friends in UK as a supplier for kits for reloadable motors. I hope they BUY. 38mm and 54mm mount kits in large diameters with motor conversion mounts to 38/29.
