Tour de Deuce Updates

Hi all,

The last few weeks have been quite hectic for the Tour de Deuce team. We have been swamped with e-mails and updates from volunteers and much communication amongst ourselves. This is a VERY good thing - it shows the project is alive and well! I have some updates for TRF members and guests that need to be addressed.

  1. Tour de Deuce will be attending NARCON 2004 in Winsconsin. Jon Hatch will be flying the Deuce's at their first nationally recognized event. Fliskits will be attending this launch and will have the Deuce's on display during the convention, then Kermie's going to take them to the sport launch and fly them! WOOSH, the sponsoring club, is very excited about this, as is Kermie, myself, Eugene, and Mr. Flis. The dates for NARCON 2004 are March 12-14th, the second weekend.

  1. Tour de Deuce will be attending NSL 2004 in Texas. The dates for NSL are May 28-30th. David Landgraf will be flying the Deuce's in the great state of Texas! Fliskits will be attending this launch - be sure to visit them!

  2. A newsgroup has been created for the volunteers to communicate amongst themselves and keep in close contact with the TDD team. The members of this group will also be able to request flying dates and communicate with each other. The address for this newsgroup is:

  3. A new way of keeping track of the schedule has been implemented. Instead of the old schedule, an actual calender has been designed and wriiten by Jim to make the schedule more intuitive and easier to use. You will find it on the main TDD site under "Schedule."

Tour de Deuce Alabama will be hosted by Greg Lane at the SEARS launch at their Headland, AL, launch site. You can find more details at:

Look at the schedule page on the TDD site for the info on the scheduling up through May.

Thanks, Jason
