1/72 F-4D?

Does any manufacturer offer a kit of the D model Phantom in 1/72? Would like to do an IIAF bird for my old Middle East History Prof. TIA.

As did Monogram. Nice kit for the price, but you'll need Hase Weapons Sets 1 thru 4 if you want better ordnance than what's already in the box. Also, you'll have to do a bit of scratch-building if you want a post-'Nam undernose RWR housing.

ESCI made a C that could be modified into a D by scratch-building the pre-amp housing under the nose IR sensor housing, but it's not as detailed (or, frankly, as accurate) as the Monogram D.

Academy, Fujimi and Hasegawa do Ds.

Fujimi, Hasegawa and Monogram do C/Ds

Hasegawa does a D/J as well.
