Today, the world first ever race for Aero GP took place in Maribor, Slovenia, EU. There were 5 contestants racing in three events:
- air race
- target & bombing
- air combat (dogfight)
In the first two events the winner was Zoltan Veres from Hungary with Extra 300S and the dogfight ace was Gabor Varga from Sweden with Yak-55 (Greasy Goose).
