AMT did a '40 Ford sedan in their old 1/32 scale 'All Stars' series.

Pyro used to have a series of 1/32nd antique autos and some of those from the immediate pre-war period might be usable. The last time some of them were released they came in Lindberg boxes.

The plastic kits mentioned are all out of production, as far as I know, but you may have luck with 1/32 scale metal die cast cars. My local hobby shop had some 1/32 scale 1940 Cadillacs in OD with white stars last year (didn't get around to picking one up, unfortunately). Don't know the make offhand. However, nationalmotormint.com has a large selection of 1/32 scale metal autos and trucks from 1906 through the present, including some military types. Prices are low enough that you can do some repainting and kitbashing without breaking the bank--check them out. If you aren't absolutely set on a civilian sedan, AFV Club has re-released Skybow's excellent Dodge 3/4 ton Command Car kit. Gerald Owens

IIRC, the AMT kit was a 2-door sedan. Unlikely for a staff car which were, I believe, all four-door models.

Motor Mint makes a diecast 1/32 1936 4-door Chrysler Airflow in US Army markings.
