the bilek-airfix bv141 kits are from the same molds. why doesn't some one tell me these things? i'll still build them both. it's my fave weird-ass ac.

Shoulda asked. ;) Did you grab that "Aviation History" mag with the article on them? Mostly described the troubles B&V had getting the RLM to believe they were serious. That says a lot about the prospects for some of those wild and wonderful '46 designs.

If you think about it the idea is brilliant. Allied gunners would be laughing so hard they wouldn't be able to shoot straight.

the early models were excellent flyers. it wasn't until they re-enfined it that performance was lost. if i were rich, i would have a model a built to fly to airshows. with markings, of course.
