Does anyone have a photo of the main transmission area of an S-64/CH-54 taken from on top?
Any help would be appreciated.

I think I do but it's not taken from overhead. I'll try looking for it tomorrow. I took several shots of one from the Pa. Guard a few years back because I had the kit and figured I'd need the details.

World Air Power Journal did an article on the CH-54, it had a lot of good photos IIRC. You might chase that lead - sorry I don't know which issue.

Like me you are wondering about the hole in the top of spine beside the transmission .Have looked at many photos and like you can not find that angle.
