Actually, there would be a WHOLE LOTTA assembly required me buckos. That particular Hornet is a large scale R/C job, and this picture was taken seconds before impact. It's featured in an R/C "crash and burn" video.

Where's it say that? Or did you call the seller?

If that's the case, this would be blatant false (or at the very least "highly misleading") advertising... for example

"This former Navy Blue Angel jet, was number 131 off the line...." "Aircraft is apart only for transporting purposes."

This might be the plane FIRST CIVILIAN F-16, F-18 GO UP FOR SALE

A warbird restoration company in Kansas got an interesting windfall recently when it was able to purchase an F-16 and F-18. Even better, when the paint was pealed back on the F-18, restorers discovered it was Blue Angel blue. The jets add to the inventory of 26 other military jets for Air Capitol Warbirds LLC of Wichita, Kansas, and Fulcrum Inc. of Ontario, Canada. But there's a lot of work to be done before either one flies. Because both planes were demilitarized by the federal government, the F-18 arrived without wings or instruments. But company officials said Tuesday that they have been able to locate all the parts needed for the restoration and expect to have the F-18 flying by the end of the year. The F-16, however, may take two years of work to restore. The jets will be fully functional, minus the weapons systems. A civilian has already put down a $100,000 deposit to hold the F-16, and a similar arrangement is available for the F-18. Company officials said insurance will, no doubt, be expensive. The seller apparantly still lists a T-33. Or several?

I'd go for that, if I had a certificate, not to mention the money to buy and operate it. I suppose it quite a bit cheaper, not only to buy, but also to maintain and especially operate, than the F-18.

But given my situation, I'd much rather have another Heller 1/72 scale T-33.

From the auction : "This aircraft was never demilled, "not cut ever".

doesn't that make it illegal to sell,at least to civilians?

With out having the issue of the particular mag, seems Mr. McCann is right.

As an architectural draftsman I have a good sense of perspective. If the aircraft was 1/1 it doesn't look in proportion to the building and vehicle(s) in the background, and the runway is the clincher, Blue Angels take off in formation with the number four A/C moving into it's slot right after take off, after that the solos take off.

Mind you, the contrails got me wondering, it has to be a really big, or darn fast R/C sucker !

Be well.
