Fokker D VII

Feb 08, 2004 3 Replies

Im doing aerospace engineering at Coventry University, and we have been given a peice of coursework to compare the structure of a model Fokker D VII which we have built from kit (unfortunately cant remember the kit name at the mo) and the structure of the real thing.

Whilse I obviously know the structure of the model cause I helped build it, I cant seem to find much info about the real thing. Can anyone suggest helpful websites/books/talking monkeys or fish which may be able to help?

and if people could email me as well as posting on the group, I would be greatful as I dont normally have time to check this thing. snipped-for-privacy@coventry.ac.uk

Many thanks Jon Dallimore

Windsock's DVII specials have technical details.

Jane's Fighting Aircraft of WWI has some close-up drawings of the structure.
