Finished a Pfeil and Ketenkraftrad, and now am ready to tackle the German airfield diorama base (from VLS/Wingz Aero Products) that I will set it on. The base is molded in Polyfoam (burnt caramel colour) and consists of a few squares of cracked, fissured airfield concrete with grass side borders. Can anyone offer the basic steps involved in base-painting and weathering the diorama base? Much thanks...
