I think they're starting to. I tried for two hours last night to list one kit because of the new form. Today I tried it again and finally made it after about 45 minutes. I kept tripping over this required answer about how much my package would weigh. I have no really concrete answer until I pack the item so I guessed and got through. In cases like that I guess on the slightly high side and then if it comes in lower everybody's happy(ier). It is my opinion that the requirement is there because of people like that.

Oh the new form... I put up an bunch of stuff on Saturday and dodged the new form as much as possible. You have the choice to use the old form until Feb 16 (I talked to an ebay elf online) but then we have to use the new form only. I sent them an email begging to keep the old form option there.

So slow, doesn't get HTML....so bad! It must be Microsoft contracting with them!!

Seriously can they really get away with charging that much for the shipping and all. Just what things do come into play as far as -normal- shipping costs go.

There are lots of Ebay sellers out there who list an item that is worth $20 for sale at $1 and then say shipping is $25. To me it's stupid and Ebay should outlaw it. If you want to see abuse, look at the tool section. It's a real joke over there.

I seriously was contemplating putting up with the harassment of every TSA agent between here and San Jose just so I could walk into the E-bay offices and wring some necks! It's going to take all day to put up a weekly auction now.

I use USPS Priority for almost everything incountry. I can order my containers and printed labels free from the PO. The only extra thing I charge for is $1 for any peanuts I use as they are running $30 a bag here. Of course, if I have any free ones I don't charge for them. Beyond that all shipping is at cost.
