Mustang Wings

Does anybody has an answer to any of the following questions re NMF P-51s?

1. How far back on the wing did the polished aluminum lacquer extend? I'm thinking the front edges of the flaps and aelerons.

1. Did the lacquer extend onto the wing tip panels?

2. Was the lacquer applied to the underside of the wings as well?
