Tom who is also a so-so modeler who enjoys the hobby and has neither time nor patience with people who think that they are so great yet have to tell everyone for some reason. George Lee, now he was great, but never cocky.
I saw it when it was printed. Nice effort, but don't brag about it online. And I'm not that bad a modeller.

There's something about skill hobbies, whether chess or model building or auto restoration or whatever--there is little connection between skill and personality. No doubt we can learn something by appreciating a fine model of a difficult subject, but the coarse attitude of a difficult subject means he will learn nothing from us.
Rule of thumb--let your work speak for you when claiming skill. Regrettably, my work tends to be mute.
