I've seen them occasionally at Hobby Lobby. I just purchased one from a friend. It is a great kit! Check this out:

According to Tamiya's web site the "clear" version also contains the parts for the non-clear version.

That is correct. You almost have enough to build a second aircraft, it only is missing the wings.
