Have they been cancelled?

Yep, even made it onto the other kit's boxes. I've talked to a couple of people still hunting one of those. That one slipped my mind.

While not ever officially announced, there was a lot of rumorage going around about Revell's 1/32nd scale BAe (or should that be EE?) Lightning. It (like the 1/32nd Hunter) was supposedly going to be based on Echelon's vacuform kit.

How about the MPM or one of their group that was going to do the Lockeed Orion (30's version) in 1/48th? A Wellington also IIRC. Ol'45

I kitbashed one oncet, a long time ago. Made it from a Frog Spirit of St. Louis with the in-line engine from a Greenbank Castle (remember them? Had it, did it joy to behold!!!!) Ryan M-1 Mailplane.

Okay, they ONCE were, but I'd like to see more pre-ww1 and early ww1 stuff. Good kits, with modern technology. The old Pyro kits were not bad, but I'd sure like to see good models of that era done by today's top mfgs.

How about a nice 1/32 of the Bleriot XI?, an early Albatross? A Bristol boxkite!

BTW, I do not consider BattleAxe one of today's top mfgs. I'll pass on any of theirs :-)

It suddenly occurred to me that Ertl once promised a '50 Studebaker and '49 Oldsmobile. I really wanted at least one of those Studes. :(
