Auto Dimension in sketcher

Autodimension never works the way you want it to.

Applying dimensions intelligently is part of how you build "design intent".

Auto dim just gives you ordinate dimensions relative to a base line in XY, not very usefull IMO

You can try the Line-tool options: select something else than "as sketched" for orientation and select "add dimensions" from parameters. Sometimes this is quite useful.

I don't know an automatic way, but you could probably assign a hotkey to it, or add the button for it to one of your existing (frequently used) toolbarts.
