Everytime I am in an assembly and have a linear pattern of a part, if one of the pattern parts configs. is changed to something else, then changed back to pattern seed comp. IT DOESNT HOLD it or REMEMBER it! Just create a new assembly, pattern a multi config. part, change one of the pattern parts to a different config., change it back to pattern seed, click ok, check it again, IT DOESNT HOLD the setting, just me, this happens every time, I can repeat it!
Can someone confirm this bug, SW2007 sp5 Assembly Configs...

I've been doing this quite a bit recently in 2007sp5.0 and it's been OK - had plenty of other issues, but not that particular one!

Confirmed here on SP5. At the point that I select the other radio button, they are both selected. Then when coming back in after the previous change, I find that neither button is selected.
And even more interesting is that if you open the dialog box such to change the referenced config and click the one that is currently selected, which will be to use the same as the parent, then Ok out and come back in, you will find that neither one is selected. So you don't even need to make any changes - just touch it.
Quite interesting indeed. Have you submitted it?

You have been changing the config back to pattern seed and it holds the setting if you check it? I will check the website on submitting it.
If the bug is also in SolidWorks 2008 then it maybe worth submitting, I wouldn't waste your time otherwise as SolidWorks cannot be bothered making Service Packs for the previous release. Service pack 5.0 was the last one that will be released.
