DWG Editor question

I've never been an Autocad user in the past and I was wondering if DWG Editor is "fully featured" as far as doing simple 2d work, like floor layouts, etc.? Is DWG Editor actually Turbocad? I thought I heard that once. I do that sort of drawing very infrequently, and don't want to get another package if I don't need to.

Thanks

oh btw,... if you don't like intellicad's engine or derivatives,.. there are many free alternatives out there but the one which looked pretty good imho is... SolidEdge 2D

DWG is great tool for viewing, revising and fix DWG or DXF file; and it is FREE, but I wouldn't trust it to do whole project on it

It crashed on me too many times (but that just like the old autoCAD )
