I would like to dimension the sketch and then have those dimensions show on the drawing. How?

Generally, the sketch must be shown on the drawing, or be absorbed into an extrusion for it to be imported.
In the drawing, Insert/Model Items

As others said Insert-Model Items.
Note: the sketch must be visible in the part/assembly, and in the drawing. Insert selected feature does not apply for hidden sketches.
This confused me in the past.
