solidworks 2003 crashing, need help bad.

I have a problem with SW 03 sp03.1 crashing bad all the time. I have a average size assembly(I would give the size but SW keeps crashing) that I am trying to open but SW will always crash. when I open up the file and sometimes when I start up SW it will crash. Has anyone else had this kind of problem with this version of SW? the video card I am running is not great but it work up until this point I don't know if I have found the limitations of the card, but it doesn't make sense why SW will crash on start up.



Any help would be appreciated, I need help bad.

I loaded SW on another computer and when I went to open the "crashing file" it said that the file was not avabile. I noticed that there was the extra files open, the ones with one of these"~" in front of it open. That means the file is open right? Is it possible that when SW crashed it left these files open and now the file is inaccessible? What can I do?

If You have configurations in the assy...choose another one in the opening box....it might help. Krister
