Hello all,
swCP3 is now almost complete. It's "get next serial number" function can now be served either locally for individual users or from a remote server for a group of users so that there are no conflicts in the usage of serial numbers.
For those who came in late: swCP3 is a fully customizable XML based SolidWorks Custom Properties Editor.

Thanks Vinodh, This is really looking good, I've looked at many other custom property application and from my point of view this is the best one I've see/used. As always each to he own but I love the way you can setup the interfaces to suit individual needs. There's a bit to understand in editing the XML file but even for someone with no programming skills like me can work it out, even if it did take a few hours. Thank you for sharing the work with us NOW where can we get it and how much will it be? I'm a bit surprised there has been very little feed back on this. What are others doing? surely their not still filling in drawing titles and BOMs by hand.
