Video Issues Driving me NUTS!!!

RANT WARNING...

WTF happened to the NVIDIA drivers and SW 2006 (sp3.1)???

I now have to restart SW at least 4 times during a 3 hour session or so to clear up video driver / screen corruption issues. I have not installed anything recently, so why this.. now?

I am using the currently approved drivers for my FX1100... no problems before SW 2005 sp?

I have seen errors that don't even look like windows warnings, as well as Feature Manager corruptions??? The warning box is not even using complete sentences, i.e. "Problem finding required" and that is it... required what??????? The message box looks odd, I program and have not seen windows like these. And missing parts of assemblies or parts, sheet metal bends, etc. this is ridiculous!

What happened to the glorious days using SW 2005 and getting work done? I really want to vote by not renewing my service contract which ends in 15 days, but now with this I am over a barrel, and must wait for a more stable release.

RANT OFF...

Anyone else seeing NVIDIA FX1100 video and SW 2006 sp3.1 problems PLEASE?

Thank you,

Aron

I am not good at debugging video, but I do wonder whether some form of Windows corruption has got ahold of you or is it strictly a SolidWorks problem?

Certainly not a cure, but I used to "clean" my screen by splitting the display window in 2 , then closing one of the 2 windows. (that was wayyy back with my first GeForce) Worth a try?

I'm running the FX1100 on 71.84. I've seen s few glitches, but nothing to cause me to restart SW yet.

It IS possible, that something has become corrupted somwhere, but it's hard to jump to that conclusion without a clean install to compare with. Do you have a lot of hte options in the drivers turned on? I've turnod off most extras, such as "desktop management" and mouse effects and such. Come to think of it, I even killed the themes service, which could have an impact on my display qualtiy. All that to say, I dunno.
